Junior Plant Manager / Technical Analyst – Large Scale Solar PV 
 
An international solar engineering and O&M firm are currently experiencing strong growth in the UK market and need to hire a junior plant manager / technical analyst to help manage their portfolio of around 500mw of large scale solar PV.

Their O&M service comprises technical, commercial and infrastructure services of utility scale PV power plants.
 
This is  a great opportunity for junior engineers including fresh renewable energy graduates to grow your experience and skills.
 
The role 
 
You’ll assist senior staff ensure failure-free operation of all assigned large scale solar PV installations.  You’ll help coordinate all on-site services through the team of technicians and sub-contractors.
 
In addition, for all your plants, you’ll assist with monthly / quarterly / yearly customer reports of all PV installations under management.  You'll also be regularly working with the MD and Technical manager on latest status of projects (i.e. larger projects, work scheduling etc.)
 
The role will be predominantly office based but you will be required to travel to client site when necessary.

About you 
  
We’re looking for someone with a passion to develop a career in renewable energy. 
 
You’ll have a top quality academic background – minimum 2:1 or better from high ranked University, including a degree or Masters in Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics.
 
You most likely have some experience already (but it is not a prerequisite) – preferably in the investment sector, asset management or renewable energy.
 
You’re extremely hardworking and happy to join a team working long hours.
 
Fluent English with great written and oral communications skills
 
You must be highly computer literate with very strong MS Office skills, preferably highly advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
 
The position can be based in either Brighton (East Sussex) or Hereford

Package

£20,000 - £23,000 per annum (depending on experience) + company mobile phone.  Location is flexible but ideally Brighton / East Sussex area.
