Site Acquisition Manager – Energy Generation

Home based, competitive base salary of c. £25,000 + car allowance + uncapped commission (OTE exceeding £50,000) 

The opportunity and the company 

This is a great opportunity to identify opportunities to develop energy generation projects across the UK (predominantly gas projects for the capacity market).

You’ll identify suitable sites and engage the site owners (land owners) to explain the benefits of entering an agreement to develop facilities on their property.

You’ll sign up ‘option agreements’ with landowners then interface between the client and the company’s internal design, development and commissioning teams to help bring the projects to a successful conclusion.

About you 

You’re probably an ambitious graduate with a background in Surveying, Estate Management, Agriculture, Energy (or similar). You  have a high degree of stamina and tenacity, and the communication skills to articulate commercial and technical information comfortably and accurately.

Ideally you’ll know you way around a contract and be conversant with lease and option agreements.
It’s essential that you’re comfortable and effective approaching and engaging prospect clients, some of whom will be warm, but most will be new contacts.

Knowledge of the energy sector, especially battery storage, and grid capacity will be extremely useful.

Essential skills & experience
  • Experience of site acquisition, account management, sales or business development.
  • Confident approaching new prospects.
  • Intelligent, organised approach to work.
  • Highly driven and tenacious.
  • Car driver (with valid UK drivers' licence).
  • Able to travel extensively and get to company office in Gloucester on a regular basis.
Preferred - Energy sector experience / knowledge. Ideally home based near triangle M4 / M40 / M5


A competitive base salary of c. £25,000 plus highly lucrative uncapped commission scheme plus car allowance
