This is a crucial role with a leading solar energy asset management firm based in Central London.
The firm is very successful and growing, they operate a fleet of utility scale solar energy power plants for asset owners across the UK and in international markets.

The scope of the role is quite broad covering four key elements: property, due diligence, regulatory requirements and commercial contract management.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the assets under management are fully compliant with all their respective property agreements and you’ll develop an excellent understanding of their obligations and terms.
There will also be a focus on due diligence by supporting the onboarding process for new assets and managing aspects of the in-house Final Acceptance Certification (FAC) process.
You’ll also support the interface with Ofgem in terms of monthly generation submissions, issue resolution and supporting any audits.
Finally, there will also be an element of commercial contract management for the SPVs.
There is a strong focus on property documentation so a legal/commercial law background would be advantageous.
You are a confident, high calibre operator, comfortable in a fast paced, high intensity environment and able to communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels of business.
A track record in managing property/land agreements (e.g. Leases), including a full working understanding of their terms and an ability to extract the key characteristics to track and be fully compliant with the conditions and obligations, is essential.
Ideally you have worked within a solar energy asset management, generation environment or other forms of renewable energy and be familiar with onboarding new assets, Final Acceptance Certification (FAC), contract defects period and general SPV management.
Experience of managing commercial contracts, e.g. market benchmarking, awarding and contract management once awarded, is also essential.
Operating as a collaborative and effective team member, you must also be able to take ownership of projects and issues arising and manage to positive conclusions for the business and our clients.
- Minimum 5+ years in a similar level role
